ABOUT US

After working for Sasol for the past 27 years, owner Maryna Basson fell in love with the beautiful seaside town of Jeffreys Bay, and decided to move here to open up J-Bay's FIRST potjie restaurant!. She wanted to bring something completely different to the Town of Dreams and it's Residents and Tourists.

At 26 Woltemade Street you will find a comfortable and friendly atmosphere filled with friends and family where you can prepare your OWN potjie from a list of ingredients provided. Her Slogan for the restaurant speaks from her heart: "The best part of LIFE is when your Family becomes your friends, and friends become you family."

The social interaction, friendly staff and vibey background music will be sure to have you and your loved ones coming back for more...

Apart from the restaurant's "Do-it-Yourself" Potjie, you can also enjoy a nice and hearty breakfast, toasties, hamburgers with pure beef patties, salads, kiddies munchies and FREAKY Milkshakes!

You can make it FUN, FUN, FUN - come in a group and have a Potjie Competition, pay an additional R20 and the winner takes it ALL!
